Core Values

Sir Boniface A. Ejiogu, fondly known as Noble Sir Bonny, was a chartered accountant, statesman, philanthropist, and devout Catholic from Obudi Agwa, Imo State. Beginning his education in Western Cameroon and later at St. Paul’s Academy, Aba, his brilliance earned him government sponsorship to the United Kingdom, where he trained as a Chartered Accountant.

He rose to become Director of Accounts in the Imo State Civil Service and later served as Honourable Commissioner for Education, Public Utilities, and Commerce & Industry, leaving lasting reforms such as the introduction of supervisors that improved teaching standards. He also served on the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Nassarawa.

A man of integrity who shunned corruption, Sir Bonny was equally a devoted philanthropist, funding numerous community and church projects across Agwa and beyond. His service earned him recognition from the British Institute of Management, the Knights of St. John International, and multiple chieftaincy titles.
He lived a simple, faith-filled life, inspiring generations with his belief that education is the key to transformation.

The Sir Boniface Ejiogu Foundation continues this legacy, empowering Agwa’s next generation of leaders.
