Prof. Obodo is a renowned scholar in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry. Educated at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Ahmadu Bello University, and later as a postdoctoral fellow in India, he has had a distinguished academic career spanning decades.

He served as Dean of Science at Madonna University after retiring from Imo State University.
